As <strong>Auto Sector Q3 Results <\/strong>have<strong> <\/strong>started being announced, the earnings for the quarter failed to match the estimates for many <strong>automobile companies<\/strong>. While seasonal pressure was there during the quarter which weighed heavily on the sector\u2019s performance, another reason for the sluggish quarter was limited product mix which also declined the sales.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this article, we will see how four of the most popular auto companies performed in this quarter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-maruti-suzuki\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Maruti_Suzuki\"><\/span>Maruti Suzuki<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The largest automobile company in India, Maruti Suzuki announced its <strong>q3 results <\/strong>on 29 January, and reported a surge in its consolidated revenue by 15.5% YoY. It went up from \u20b931860 crore to \u20b936802 crore during the period. Coming to the net profit for the period, surged 12.6% during the quarter. The consolidated net profit for the period was \u20b93525 crore. The EPS went up from \u20b9101.9 in Q3FY24 to \u20b9112.12 in Q3FY25.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-tata-motors\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tata_Motors\"><\/span>Tata Motors<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tata Motors announced its <strong>third-quarter results <\/strong>on 29 January. The consolidated revenue went up from \u20b9109799 crore to \u20b9 112833 crore which is a rise of 2.76% YoY. The consolidated net profit for the period was \u20b95578 crore which declined by 22% YoY from \u20b97145 crore a year back. The EPS also declined to \u20b914.81 from \u20b918.32 in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-bajaj-auto\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bajaj_Auto\"><\/span>Bajaj Auto<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bajaj Auto, one of the most favourite two-wheeler brands in India reported its October-December quarter results on 28 January. The consolidated revenue for the period stood at \u20b913168.88 crore up from \u20b9 12165.53 crore in Q3FY24 which is a rise of 8.25% YoY. The consolidated profit for the period went up from \u20b92032.62 crore to \u20b92195.65 crore, surging 8.02%. The EPS went up from \u20b971.9 to \u20b978.7 YoY while compared to September, it went up massively, as the EPS for the September quarter was down at \u20b949.7.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-tvs-motor\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"TVS_Motor\"><\/span>TVS Motor<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TVS Motor reported its <strong>third-quarter earnings<\/strong> on 28 January and the revenue (consolidated) went up by 10.1% during the quarter. It went up from \u20b910113.94 crore in Q3FY24 to \u20b911134.63 crore in Q3FY25. The net profit for the period went up by 19.6% YoY from \u20b9509.61 crore to \u20b9609.35 crore. The EPS on the other hand went up from \u20b910.08 to \u20b911.91 however, marginally increased as the previous quarter\u2019s EPS stood at \u20b911.80.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-wrapping-up-nbsp\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Wrapping_up\"><\/span>Wrapping up&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While these four <strong>auto industry quarterly results<\/strong> show mixed results for Tata Motors the profit went down, while for the others it went up but few didn\u2019t meet the estimates. More auto companies are about to announce their results for the quarter, and that will further help in understanding how the overall quarter went for the sector.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
