On the other hand, <strong>India\u2019s imports <\/strong>from the US rose to $4.47 billion compared to $3.98 billion recorded in September\u201925.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-significant-rise-in-gold-imports-nbsp\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Significant_Rise_in_Gold_Imports\"><\/span>Significant Rise in Gold Imports&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the exports declined during October, India\u2019s gold imports rose significantly on the contrary. During the month, India imported gold worth $14.7 billion, which is way higher than the September import value of $9.6 billion.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The total imports for October declined to $76.06 billion, compared to September\u2019s $68.53 billion, mainly owing to the rise in <strong>gold imports<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-wrapping-up-nbsp\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Wrapping_up\"><\/span>Wrapping up&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">October is the second full month, when the astounding tariffs which even goes up to 50% on certain Indian exports are at play. Thus, the effect is now more elaborately visible on the <strong>India trade deficit<\/strong>. However, both the Indian government and the US Government are still negotiating about the bilateral trade agreement. It will be interesting to see how the government tackles this widening trade deficit.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Source: <a
