On Friday, 5<sup>th<\/sup> December 2025, the white metal surged to a record high level backed by massive <strong>silver ETF inflows<\/strong>. Last week witnessed huge inflows in the <strong>silver ETFs,<\/strong> which have an underlying asset as <strong>silver MCX<\/strong> that is silver which is traded as a commodity on the MCX.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-price-rally-nbsp\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Price_Rally\"><\/span>The Price Rally&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>silver price<\/strong> rose to a whopping $58.5 per ounce on Friday, which is an all-time high for the white metal. Even the total holdings of <strong>silver ETFs<\/strong> increased by around 590 tons in the previous week, which is again an outcome of the <strong>ETF investors&#8217;<\/strong> demand.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The investors are expecting this rally to continue, and there is a long way ahead for which they are continuing with their investments in these <strong>exchange-traded funds <\/strong>backed by<strong> <\/strong>silver.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-fed-rate-cut-expectation\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fed_Rate_Cut_Expectation\"><\/span>Fed Rate Cut Expectation<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This <strong>silver market rally<\/strong> is perhaps also an outcome of the <strong>Fed rate cut<\/strong> expectations that are increasing in the market. Investors are expecting the Fed to lower the interest rate further this week.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In October 2025, the global market already witnessed a surprising short squeeze of silver in the London markets, which is still fresh in investors&#8217; heads.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now this recent rally in the white metal is further boosting investors&#8217; confidence.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-gold-remains-flat-nbsp\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Gold_Remains_Flat\"><\/span>Gold Remains Flat&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While silver continued to surge, gold remained flat with little price change. It stood at $4200.25 per ounce on Friday; however, it dropped 1% in the entire last week. Platinum from the <strong>commodities market<\/strong> also gained during the past week.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-today-s-silver-and-gold-performance-nbsp\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Todays_Silver_and_Gold_Performance\"><\/span>Today\u2019s Silver and Gold Performance&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, the <strong>silver price<\/strong> is at $58 per ounce at around 12.50 p.m., while that of Gold is at $4180 per ounce.
