But what if you change your mobile number and want to update it on the EPFO portal? How do you do that? Enter the new password twice and click on &#8216;Submit.&#8217;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once completed, your mobile number and password will be updated on the EPFO portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3-offline-sms-services-offered-by-epf\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Offline_SMS_Services_Offered_by_EPF\"><\/span>Offline SMS Services Offered by EPF<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EPFO provides a range of services online and through SMS as well as the Umang app. The following EPF services are accessible through SMS:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>UAN and its status (Active or inactive)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EPF Details<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EPF\/PF Balance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>EPF transfer\/withdrawal status<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bank account, PAN, and Aadhaar linking status<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Last contribution<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OTP service for authentication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Activated UAN members can inquire about their latest PF contribution and balance by sending an SMS to 7738299899 from their registered mobile number. The format for the SMS is &#8220;EPFOHO UAN&#8221; to 7738299899. The service is available in English by default and can also be received in Hindi, Telugu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, and Bengali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To receive SMS in a language other than English, add the first three characters of the preferred language after UAN.
