It was a special innovative medicine in India for pernicious anaemia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>In 1952, <\/strong>Cadila Laboratories Ltd. was founded by Mr. Ramanbhai B. Patel.<br>Cadila Laboratories Ltd. set a benchmark for quality and excellence throughout the <strong>1970s and 1980s<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Before the 2000s:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 1995-1996, Zydus acquired Indo Pharma Pharmaceutical Works Ltd., marking its first step into acquisitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the same period, Zydus launched 23 new products, including Falcigo, in India, investing Rs 250 crores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In 1997-1998<\/strong>, Zydus formed a joint venture with BYK Gulden, a major German pharmaceutical company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And they kept growing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then, in<strong> 1999-2000<\/strong>, Zydus went public with an <strong>initial public offering (IPO)<\/strong> and partnered with <strong>Sarabhai for animal healthcare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Moving into the 2000s:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2000-2001- Zydus acquired Recon Healthcare.
