Be it the SEBI crackdown on the fund house or touching all-new highs amidst this crisis. <strong>Quant Mutual Fund<\/strong> <strong>AUM<\/strong> touched a new high of around \u20b9 94000 crore in the mid of July. In July, the fund house made some significant changes in its portfolio one of the most crucial increasing its stake in ITC by a whopping \u20b9 3669 crore. In this article, you will read all the details pertaining to different Quant MF schemes, which added more of <strong>ITC shares<\/strong>, and other asset allocations that the fund houses did in July.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ramping-up-itc-stakes\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ramping_up_ITC_Stakes\"><\/span><strong>Ramping up ITC Stakes<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In July, out of the total ITC equity stocks worth \u20b9 3669 crore added to the portfolio of the fund house, Quant flexi Cap share the major portion. ITC stocks worth \u20b9 666 crores were added to this scheme last month. The other two schemes that added a significant amount of the ITC stakes include the Quant Tax Saver scheme, which added \u20b9 440 crore shares of ITC, while the Large and Midcap fund of <strong>Quant MF<\/strong> added shares worth \u20b9 299 crore of ITC. The quantamental Fund Regular plan also added a whopping amount of stakes worth \u20b9 261 crores while \u20b9 221 crore stakes of ITC were added to the quant Active Fund.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dropping-hdfc-shares\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dropping_HDFC_Shares\"><\/span><strong>Dropping HDFC Shares<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While Quant MF added a significant amount of <strong>ITC shares<\/strong> in July, it also dropped HDFC Bank 2.95 crore shares worth \u20b9 4763 crore. Post this sell-off, Quant MF had \u20b9 2800 crore of stakes in HDFC Bank at July end, down from \u20b9 7871 crore of HDFC Bank shares in June. <strong>Quant Small Cap Fund&nbsp;<\/strong>offloaded the highest number of shares of HDFC Bank worth \u20b9 1602 crore. This scheme sold the entire HDFC Bank stakes, <strong>Quant mid-cap fund <\/strong>followed this and sold HDFC shares worth \u20b9 779 crores. Quant large &amp; mid cap fund offloaded \u20b9 322 crore shares of HDFC bank.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-total-holding-of-mfs-in-itc-and-hdfc-bank\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Total_holding_of_MFs_in_ITC_and_HDFC_Bank\"><\/span><strong>Total holding of MFs in ITC and HDFC Bank<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After the recent reshuffling in July 39 mutual fund houses hold ITC shares worth \u20b9 61862 crores and HDFC Bank shares worth \u20b9 2.54 lakh crores. A total number of shares of ITC lying with MFs includes 125 crore of shares, while that of HDFC Bank is 158 crore shares.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-quant-mutual-fund-overall-holdings-in-july\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Quant_Mutual_Fund_Overall_Holdings_in_July\"><\/span><strong>Quant Mutual Fund Overall Holdings in July<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As per July data, the mutual fund households have stakes in 184 companies whose value stands at \u20b9 78920 crore, however, there has been a decrease from holding stakes in its 284 companies in June. In July, the MF also sold stocks of 122 companies and made a profit of \u20b9 9490 crore, while investing in 22 new companies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other three companies from which <strong>Quant MF<\/strong> offloaded significant value of shares include&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>HUDCO \u2013 \u20b9 1449 crore shares<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tata Consultancy Services \u2013 \u20b9 1376 crore shares<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kotak Mahindra Bank \u2013 \u20b9 1377 crore shares<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other companies from which Quant MF entirely withdrew its stake include \u2013&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Shipping Corporation of India \u2013 \u20b9 893 crore<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Escort Kubota \u2013 \u20b9 607 crore<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NHPC \u2013 \u20b9 538 crore<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HEG \u2013 \u20b9 445 crore<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Railtel Corp \u2013 \u20b9 400 crore<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Graphite India \u2013 \u20b9 334 crore<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-new-additions-to-quant-mf-portfolio-nbsp\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"New_additions_to_Quant_MF_Portfolio\"><\/span><strong>New additions to Quant MF Portfolio<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A total of 22 companies were added to the portfolio and the amount invested was \u20b92950 crore.
