The company began its journey with the commissioning of the first Fortis Hospital in Mohali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two years later, in <strong>August 2003,<\/strong> Fortis Hospital, Amritsar, opened its doors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <strong>October 2003<\/strong>, Fortis made a strategic move by signing an agreement with Seth Jessa Ram and Bros Charitable Hospital Trust to manage Jessa Ram Hospital in New Delhi.
